Route costBorusan's ETA asks Seferi what the tolls cost
Borusan did not move to Seferi. It has its own ETA system; underneath it, Seferi answers one question: what does this route cost today.
Problem
The hard part is not the arrival time — it is the cost
In a large fleet, predicting arrival time is a solved problem. The hard part is knowing what that arrival costs at today's tariff.
Motorway and bridge tolls change. Every route has a different combination of gantries. The alternative road is sometimes cheaper and sometimes not. And the cost depends on vehicle class — a panel van and an articulated truck do not pay the same for the same road.
When this calculation is wrong, the error shows up after the trip is over, on the invoice.
Solution
What we do
- Gantry-by-gantry breakdown
- When Borusan's system asks for a route, the path is itemised: which motorway, which bridge, which gantry, how much at today's tariff. The answer is a breakdown, not a single total — an operator can only challenge a number they can trace.
- Priced by vehicle class
- Toll tariffs vary by vehicle class. The route is planned for the class of vehicle that will actually run it; a panel van is never charged an articulated-truck tariff.
- Current tariffs
- Motorway and bridge prices enter the calculation the moment they change. There is no spreadsheet of tariffs to maintain by hand.

Measurement
94% of the tens of thousands of route queries each month are approved without a person ever looking at them.
Where the remaining 6% goes
- 4%Borusan's own internal process
- 2%Global outages on the Seferi side
We publish the second line because it is true. Whether a number is a measurement or a marketing claim shows in where the remainder is assigned.
The estimate is not exact — it is unbiased
The figure lands sometimes below and sometimes above the invoiced amount. It does not drift in one direction — an estimate that is systematically low is not an estimate, it is a sales number.
